Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® has named Matthias Roeke Managing Director of Rosewood London, which is scheduled to open in October 2013. The newly renovated and upgraded 1914 Edwardian architectural piece is to feature 262 guestrooms and 44 suites.
Roeke is a veteran of two decades within the luxury hotelier space. His expertise extends worldwide from Germany to Hong Kong and back in various positions with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.
Other features of the new hotel are; bars and lounges and a restaurant with outdoor terrace, a Sense® spa, Rosewood’s signature spa brand; and a fitness suite. The hotel will also feature 11 events spaces including a ballroom which will accommodate up to 435 guests.
