Radisson RED Hotel Krakow

Rezidor Hotel Group of the international Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group expands its European portfolio with a new Radisson RED Hotel in Krakow, Poland. The new property is set to open its doors in late 2019 and will feature 230 modern rooms, a signature restaurant and bar concept, meeting spaces, and a 24/7 fitness center.

Radisson RED is Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group’s newest lifestyle brand, which caters to guests interested in fashion, music, and art. RED has a strong focus on the experience, offering guest more than accommodation: modern technology and in-room amenities, personal interaction, individual choices, and much more. The location of the hotel is no accident, as RED will be an integrated part of an urban development plan by Treimorfa Project, a joint venture entity of Eurozone Equity Company and GD&K Group: the largest high-rise building in Krakow’s, Unity Centre, within walking distance to the central train station and Kraków University of Economics.

“It took us 10 years to bring this concept to life. We do not regret, however, the time spent for the fact that it improved the quality of the product we deliver to the local society and potential customers,” said Henryk Gaertner, Co-founder of GD&K Group.

“Radisson RED will be an exciting contrast and compliment to the city, celebrating the best of history and the future of technology driven hospitality,” added Elie Younes, Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer of The Rezidor Hotel Group. “With an average GDP growth of 3.6% in 2015, Poland is an important economic player in Europe. The addition of Radisson RED is a key pillar in delivering our development strategy for Poland, a market where we are present with 12 hotels (2,700+ rooms) under the Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson brands and signal our commitment to Poland, Rezidor’s focus growth market. Radisson Blu is Poland’s largest upper-upscale hotel brand, both in number of hotels and number of rooms in operation. Radisson RED will create strong traction, together with the recent additions in Vilnius and Riga, for our further development in Poland and the rest of Central Eastern Europe,” she concluded.

Radisson RED is a new hotel philosophy and lifestyle brand inspired by art, music and fashion. RED connects with an ageless mindset and creates an experience that is localized, meaningful and appealing to those who appreciate bold design, individuality and simplicity. The brand will open its first hotels in 2016 and plans to have 60 hotels operating globally by 2020. For more information, visit raddisonred.com.
