Combining a variety of music genres including indie, folk, pop, rock and electronic with art, a lively relaxing atmosphere and a spectacular venue between woods and sandy beaches, Positivus has been recognized by many British publications as one of the best summer festivals.

This year’s event features five stages located in close proximity to the camping grounds and the car parking, allowing guests a comfortable stay. With headliners such as Keane, Damien Rice, Friendly Fires, The Vaccines, Wild Beasts Lucy Rose or Housse de Racket performing alongside other world-famous and new local musicians, Positivus Festival 2012 promises to deliver a one-of-a-kind music experience.

In addition to the lively music background, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy various shows and to indulge into a plethora of outdoor activities offered by the excellent coastal setting.

The idyllic Latvian town of Salacgriva stands between A1 Via Baltica highway and the beach of Riga Bay, 120 km away of Riga Airport. In order to support the festival attendees, organizers have provided an affordable and easy mean of transportation aka the already famous Positivus Shuttle Bus.
