Orbitz Offering Kitchen Sink and Limos Now

Earlier this week Orbitz for Business announced a new partnership with Limos.com, the world’s largest digital private car service. Clients of Orbitz for Business can now search, select, and book a limo.

Limos.com operates in 62 countries around the globe, at some 370 destinations. Orbitz, following the growing trend in ancillary service features, appears to be forging forward at breakneck speed to garner a bigger monetizable offering set. On this limo deal, T.J. Clark, President and CEO of Limos.com has this to say:

“Integrating Limos.com with the Orbitz for Business booking environment is not only a perfect fit, it’s a partnership that will help customers realize significant savings on ground transportation. Business travelers often need a heightened level of convenience, service and flexibility when it comes to private car transportation, but they also need to stay within a defined travel budget. Limos.com offers those travelers seamless access to private cars at specially-negotiated rates and provides policy controls, all of which make private car transportation a much more convenient and cost-effective proposition.”

The Hawaiian Airlines deal, partnering with AOL, Dollar Thrifty, and other moves by the company make overall good business sense. And in a sense, exactly what the company needs given it has the highest EBITDA ratios in the segment. Orbitz offers air, hotel, vacation package, car rentals, cruises, travel insurance, other ground transportation, event tickets, tour bookings, and now limos.
