New Travel Portal Is Indeed ideeli

ideeli, Inc. announces an all new flash sale shopping site with a very cool travel component. Powered by Voyage Prive, the first and largest global private flash sale travel group, ideeli travel goes a long way toward connecting travelers with curated travel offers and booking simplicity. With a maze of online travel sites springing up everywhere, maybe it’s time for an old fashioned travel store?

Sebourn Legend via ideeli - luxury amid Med luxury

ideeli’s new site promises, and as far as we can see, delivers a wide selection of limited offers for travel. Hotel and vacation packages worldwide, all that is missing are the sub categories like cruises (check out Seabourn Legend above), flights, and tours, etc. and ideeli really has it going on here. And, according to their press release, the developers there are working on these aspects as I type this. Here are some of the features of this interesting travel insertion (via their release also).

  • Real-time booking: Full-service booking experience and real-time availability. No coupons or vouchers: select your specific dates, length of stay and receive automated confirmation.
  • More variety: Over 100 unique, edited travel experiences each month and a greater assortment of the best domestic and international destinations and travel offerings.
  • Flexible refund/cancellation policy: including optional “cancel for any reason” travel insurance.
  • Live agent support: Including pre- and post-sale phone support from a team of travel professionals.
  • Travel editorial: Inspiration, tips and destination advice from the ideeli travel editors, including links to professional and consumer review sites.
  • Authority and authenticity: The ideeli travel and Voyage Prive verified seal signifies that offers deliver on both value and standards.

One of the many things I like about ideeli is that the trappings of travel seem to come together in a refined but simple way on the site. Mind you, the site is not perfect by my standards, but the proper balance, utility, and simplicity are maintained – in short, the user will find it pleasurable to either browse or buy here. And as for adding in a vacation element? That is simply brilliant. Paul Hurley, CEO and Founder of ideeli, had this to add about ideeli’s new course:

“With this enhanced travel channel, our members will have even more opportunities to discover new destinations and experiences, with the added conveniences — like on-site booking — to make the shopping experience even easier.”

Beyond a nice press release, even past a ideeli passing my personal website “crispness test” – looking into the deals offers, ideeli at least offers what anyone would call “interesting” trips. When all is said and done, customers are seeking value, and where the Internet is concerned, credibility and transparency too. So, let’s dissect a deal listed on ideeli, shall we?

ideeli is ideally dealing travel apparently

Of interest to Argo Travel, ideeli’s French Riviera cruise listing via Voyage Prive falls within our sphere. The listing, a 7 Night Cruise aboard the Seabourn Legend, offers passengers a window suite, category OS – Guarantee, meals & entertainment included, comp wines, and a stock in suite bar, for $2299 bucks (some minor added fees apply). Embarking from Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy and ending up in Monte Carlo – heck, I am considering booking – honest. As you can see in the image below, the Seabourn Legend is no turnip boat.

As for really being a deal? Sure as shootin ideeli’s cruise is fully $200 bucks off what the traveler can get via the Seabourn website.  If you are the type to split hairs, there is a $62.07 pp fee listed on ideeli, which is not apparent on the cruise provider’s site. This could be hidden on the latter, or an oversight, obviously. Regardless, the ability to click, find, and book a money saving and quality deal appears to be in ideeli’s favor, for sure. For more information about ideeli, we encourage readers to check out their site via the links. And if you are interested in the fantastic luxury yachts of Seabourn, be sure and check their various web locations via the main site.  This is a very good looking company, I might add.

Here is your stateroom for the cruise below. The only fault I actually find with ideeli is that their images do not do their offers justice. We will continue to watch ideeli for what looks to be the coming fashion in luxury travel – designer clothes to go with your vacation. This is nearly perfect. Phil out.

Ocean-view Suite via Seabourn rather than ideeli site - this should be remedied
