Geothira M.A.E. and the Institute for the Study and Monitoring of the Santorini Volcano (IMPHS) invite the public to a guided geological tour of Nea Kameni and the impressive Santorini caldera on Sunday, 16 November 2025.
Departure Details
- Departure time: 10:30 a.m.
- Meeting point: Outside the entrance of the cable car in Fira, until 10:00 a.m.
- Boarding location: Calderas Boats offices, Old Port of Fira
Participants will explore the volcanic landscape of Nea Kameni and learn about the geological processes that shaped Santorini, under the guidance of specialized geologists from IMPHS.
