NATURO is an international travel and tourism fair with a focus on outdoor activities. It will take place in Gornja Radgona from April 21 until April 23, 2017.

It cares for well-being at natural health spas and Wellness centres, as well as at tourist farms. It pampers with tastings of regional cuisines. It inspires with dynamic presentations of activities in nature. It returns to the old days with live demonstrations of ancient home crafts and an international exhibition of vintage vehicles.

At its 4th edition this year, NATURO has a program that appeals to leisure travelers. Activities and deals include offers for hunting and fishing tourism, hiking and mountain climbing, equestrian tourism, cycling, water sports, spa and Wellness tourism, rural tourism, excursions, and camping. The exhibition will also include equipment, clothing, and appliances for activities in nature.

Visitors will also enjoy a well-developed specialty program, which includes presentations of natural health spas, regional cuisine and home crafts, and an equestrian show. A special side of the exhibition will focus on antique transport, with clubs and vintage car collectors from Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Croatia, and Serbia participating.

The exhibition is open to the public daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Children under six years of age do not pay any entry fee. A daily, regular ticket for adults is 5 EURO, while the youth will pay only half price. Discounts for groups larger than 20 persons are also available.

Gornja Radgona is a charming town on the Mura River. It is a pleasant destination for hiking and cycling, and it is known as the city of trade fairs and champagne. Among its main attractions, the Old Castle (Radgonski Grad) on Grajska Cesta traces its history back to the XIII century (first mentioned in 1211) when it was erected by a nobleman of Slovenian descent. The castle was altered several times during its time, often rebuilt and enlarged. Its present shape dates from 1775, when it was owned by Count Leopold Herberstein. Herberstein’s coat of arms can still be observed above the main entrance of the building. Radgonski Grad is now privately owned and rearranged as an entertainment facility. From the castle, you can admire beautiful views of Pomurje.
