Marriott’s Gay-friendly ‘Be You, With Us’ Campaign

Global lodging leader, Marriott International, Inc has recently announced the “Be You, With Us” marketing campaign, a movement targeting lesbians, gay, bisexuals, transgender travelers, friends and families. Celebrating Pride Season (June-September), the campaign consists of travel packages and remarkable hotel experiences in different gay-friendly cities around the world, encouraging guests to be themselves when staying with Marriott.

After traveling along destinations that host gay pride parades and festivals, “Be you, With Us” culminates with a sweepstakes where the winner will receive a trip valued at $5,000 to one of the 2013 New York, San Francisco or Berlin Gay Pride Festivals.

To enter the “Be You, With Us” sweepstakes, travelers car register through www.marriott.com/pride beginning June 7th. Marriott’s packages include: The Rainbow NOLA offer, The Get a Room! Vancouver Pride package and TheRainbow Connection LGBT Special offer.

Aiming New Orleans, The Rainbow NOLA offer is an attractive package providing guests with the opportunity to accommodate in hotels such as JW Marriott New Orleans or the Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette. Additionally, tourists will receive two courtesy welcome drinks and a Gay Guide map to New Orleans.

The Get a Room! Vancouver Pride package includes overnight accommodations in a king deluxe studio at the Residence Inn Vancouver Downtown in Canada alongside full hot buffet breakfast, high-speed wireless Internet, parking, two door passes to Celebrities Night Club and two cocktails in Cavino, the hotel restaurant.

Rainbow Connection LGBT Special offer provides a remarkable stay at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Hawaii, plus a $300 hotel credit and daily breakfast for two at the resort’s restaurant.
