All this week the 47th Marisor International Music Festival gets underway in Chisinau. Taking place at the Nicolae Sulac National Palace, the event sees none other than Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti, Parliament Speaker Marian Lupu, Prime Minister Vlad Filat, MPs, and other cabinet dignitaries in attendance.
Moldovan National Chamber Chorus
Running from 1-10 March, this year’s festival of concerts and associated events is to be held outside the capital as well. Some noted performers include: The National Chamber Chorus (above courtesy their website), the Adavahov’s brothers orchestra, the Teleradio-Moldova state-run orchestra company, and singers from Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine.
