The Coming Warsaw Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival

Coming to Poland’s capital March 17th through 29th the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw invites the best in the world to a cultural and artistic event to remember. Initiated by the wife of legendary Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki, Elzbieta Penderecka’s event is now one of Europe’s most anticipated festivals.

Beginning with a piano recital featuring Simon Trpceski, the festival opens at noon on the 17th and moves on into the evening with the Inauguration of the Festival Concert at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall. The series culminates with a Concert celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Giuseppe Verdi at the same hall.
