Leland Lee Exhibition “To Russia with Love” in Moscow

Coming to the Central House of Artists from April 25 to May 15, the Taiwan artist Liland Lee exhibition “To Russia with Love.” Organized by the Contemporary Art Foundation (Taiwan Foundation for Contemporary Art) and the Khankhalaev Gallery (Moscow), the exhibition is also presented with the assistance of the fund for the solution of problems of autism in Russia, “Exit”.  as part of an information campaign and events designed to draw public attention to this problem.

Leland Lee is one of the brightest representatives of the genre “art-brut”. The exhibition “In Russia with Love” in the Central House of Artists will present works directly focused on Russia, a place and culture the artist has long wanted to visit. Lee, who was diagnosed with autism before his second birthday, is now 28 years old. His fate is the story of talent and overcoming, and his works reflect his journey. Exhibited all over the world, Lee’s art is in Russia for the first time.

“To Russia with Love” concludes a series of events taking place in April, a worldwide month informing people about autism. One of the main goals of the exhibition is to show the integration of special people into the space of contemporary art and society and to draw attention to the topic of autism.
