According to the Arab Times, some 7,000 Kuwaitis have been vacationing in Bosnia Herzegovina since June. Also the number of vacationers from Kuwait is expected to increase to 17,000 by the end of the year. While much of the rest of the world has seemed to ignore the country as a vacation getaway, clearly there are some taking advantage of the beautiful country.
Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Public Tourism Agency reported the Kuwaiti embassy assisted nationals in visiting the country by organizing teams throughout hotels where Kuwaiti citizens stayed in order to lend a hand for their consular issues. One issue that arose according to the reports was the fact Bosnian hotels and apartments are actually fairly scarce.
