The JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa, set to debut in 2025, will span 100 acres of stunning seaside beauty, providing a magnificent refuge for discriminating tourists seeking unmatched hospitality and immersive well-being experiences.

Greece remains as one of the most attractive destinations for today’s global traveller, and the signing of JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa reflects the continued demand we are seeing for luxury accommodation across the country. We look forward to working with Vasilakis SA and SWOT Hospitality to introduce the brand’s legacy of extraordinary hospitality, thoughtful design, and enriching well-being experiences to the island destination of Crete.

The JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa, designed by the famous architecture company Block722, combines modern refinement with ancient Cretan traditions. The business plans to provide 160 painstakingly crafted luxury bedrooms, each oozing flair and grandeur. Each suite and villa includes its own pool or jacuzzi.

The resort’s architectural highlights also include various tranquil wellness zones that invite guests to immerse themselves in the present moment totally. These places include the JW Garden and five diverse culinary locations that provide a variety of dining experiences, ranging from a traditional Cretan restaurant to a coastal restaurant. Furthermore, the facility will have several swimming pools, a cutting-edge fitness centre, a beach club, a magnificent spa, and unique Family by JW activities.

On the outskirts of Chania, just near Marathi Beach—famous for its clean, shallow waters and as a popular starting point for Crete excursions—you’ll find the JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa. The picturesque mediaeval town of Chania is home to some of the most breathtaking natural beauty, beaches, and castles in all of Greece. The resort is easily accessible for guests because to its position near Chania Airport and Heraklion International Airport, which are all within a two-hour drive.
