Three International Travel Fairs Open in Russia Next Week

Kazan will host KITS: Kazan Int'l Exhibition of Tourism and Sport

Kaliningrad, Kazan, and Novosibirsk make the ideal destinations for travel and hospitality pros next week, as the tree cities will host, each, international travel fairs for tourism businesses and their targeted clients. The dates of the fairs coincide too: all three take place from April 13 to April 15.

Kazan Int’l Exhibition of Tourism and Sport

At its 22nd edition in 2017, the Kazan International Exhibition of Tourism and Sport takes place at Kazanskaya Yarmarka. It is an annual, key event in the region, attracting businesses from 6 countries, including 24 regions of the Russian Federation, Spain, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey, with about 160 participating travel and tourism companies, and 43 city administrations. The event is highly recommended to the public interested in tourism, recreation, sports, and a healthy lifestyle. Besides the exhibition that takes over 614 m², the organizers also offer seminars, roundtables, and presentations.

Main sections of the exhibition include health centers, rehabilitation centers, rest homes, children’s camps, holidays in Russia and abroad, business tourism, extreme tourism and extreme sports, as well as pilgrimage to holy places.

Yantur: Travel. Sport. Leisure in Kaliningrad

Yantur: Travel. Sport. Leisure is an annual event in Kaliningrad, which celebrates its 20th

edition this year. It will feature travel and tourism companies, as well as agencies from Kaliningrad, the regions of Russia, and the Baltic countries. The fair has a special focus on new sightseeing tours, educational summer programs for school children, traditional holidays on the Baltic Sea, spa services, and rural tourism. A special part of the exhibition will be dedicated to sports and travel gear and apparel. SITT: Int’l Specialized Exhibition for tourism, leisure, and sport. Airlines in Novosibirsk

Organized by ITE Siberian Fair LLC, SITT is an international exhibition with a focus on tourism, leisure, sport, and airlines. It will take place next week from April 13 to April 15 at the IEC Novosibirsk Expocentre. SITT is the largest international exhibition of its kind in Siberia, despite being visited only by 1567 people in 2016. SITT 2017 features a special attendee support program “Professional Guest” focused on the professionals from Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Barnaul and Tomsk. It is an occasion for visitors to discover new season programs from major tour operators, to partake in seminars and presentations, and to talk to regional and international tourism authorities responsible for the promotion of their destinations. Sections of the exhibition include tour operators, national tourist offices, tourism authorities of the Russian Federation regions, accommodation facilities, and airlines.
