We caught up with George Ergazakis, who is the director of Nicosia based hotel revenue management company Plarino. Here’s what he had to say about his firm’s role in the coming expo:

“We are extremely happy to be a part of the first Hospitality Expo Cyprus. We’ll be debuting RevitUp, which is an industry-first holistic approach for revenue optimization we developed alongside the leading Greek hotel marketing team at EyeWide Digital.”

RevitUp is a much-anticipated revenue enhancement service that debuted at the 100% Hotel Show in Athens back in November.

Also at the event, George MilisPhD. Chief Operations Manager at Phoebe Research & Innovation, will lead a workshop on Building Management Systems (BMS) focused on the Internet-of-Things (IoT) enabled devices to be used in (smarter) building automation. The workshop they will be involved with will introduce participants to a complete work-based training program for operators of IoT-enabled smart buildings in the hospitality sector.

The Hospitality Expo Cyprus is organized by DISPLAY ART PLC, EXPO LINE, and MGMEDIAEXPO LTD, the Nicosia event will also feature workshops on how automation can transform the guest experience, the national tourism strategy, a panel discussion on technology and spotting future trends, an informative session of fiber optic and WiFi, and more.
