Noted for the massive parties held at this north coast beach paradise, the city attracts tens of thousands in tourist season. We scanned the Instagram accounts of the local party news purveyors like Hersonissos Life, and the various clubs, resorts and Crete partygoers in order to bring you a bit of the fun.
The original hookah bar in Hersonissos above is one of the most famous hangouts for partygoers, but there are many other notable ones like BioBio Club, New York Beach Club, Club Sensation, Havana Club, Palm Beach Club, and more.
Hersonissos is not all about crowds and wild parties, the crystal clear waters of the Cretan Sea are the biggest attraction.
Luxury! Crete is world famous for its hospitality, its food, but a lesser known treat awaits travelers too. The Instagram below from the fabulous Nana Beach Resort clues us to the classy treasures of Hersonissos. I want to be there at that table.

But when all is said and done Hersonissos is about the seaside, Crete’s natural beauty, fabulous repsorts like Aldemar (Instagram below) and cute girls. Okay, maybe cute boys too.
