Travelocity welcomes the first day of summer (summer solstice) with its top 10 destinations for the Fourth of July Weekend. The list includes some of America’s most popular tourist destinations, known all over the world for their entertainment opportunities, beauty, and luxury. The top destination this year is Orlando, as usual the number one family summer destination. 4th of July here is celebrated with fireworks, shows at Disney World and SeaWorld, and free fireworks at Lake Eola.
Orlando is followed by New York City, a place that celebrates with non-conventional activities, such as Nathan’s International Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island, and the spectacular Macy’s 4th of July fireworks in the evening.
