A Lufthansa airliner had to make an emergency landing in Budapest earlier this week when a fight broke out between passengers on board.
In a strange turn of events, a flight from Bahrain to Frankfurt landed at Budapest Airport when some passengers aboard the aircraft broke out in fisticuffs in economy class seating. According to the reports the fight resulting in some passengers receiving serious injuries.
According to the report from Akhbar Al Khaleej, the fight broke out a couple of hours before the landing in Budapest.

I was on that flight. Only one person was hitting, the other person was crouched in his seat. I was awaken by screams of help, my friend and I ran to the fight and restrained the man who seemed delusional. The flight crew gave us flex cuffs to restrain him. We kept a close eye on him until we landed in Budapest where authorities escorted him off the plane.

I cannot say exactly where we were when the event took place, but I know we landed in Budapest about 45 minutes after the incident.
