EyeWide Digital Marketing Agency, one of Europe’s leading hospitality marketing companies, has been nominated for several Greek Hospitality Awards for 2018. Organized by Ethos Events and CHRIMA Magazine, the awards reward excellence in tourism throughout Greece.

This year’s awards ceremony will be held at the fabulous Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso in Athens. The awards will carry four key themes: Best City Hotels, Best Greek Resorts, Best Greek Hotel Facilities, and Special Awards. The top prize is, of course, “Top Greek Hotel 2018.” We caught up with Minas Liapakis, who’s Co-Founder and Owner of EyeWide, in order to get his take on being nominated for the prestigious awards. Liapakis has this to offer on his companies first nomination for these awards:

“We founded our company with the idea of providing a new level of digital marketing for hotels and hospitality businesses. To be nominated for these awards tells us we are achieving our original goals. This is, of course, very gratifying for everyone here at EyeWide.”

Other entities nominated alongside EyeWide include; Anemos Grand Luxury Resort, Aldemar Resorts, the Amada Collossos Resort, Axia Hospitality, Celestyal Cruises, Grecotel, HotelBrain, and many others. The criteria used to determine winners chosen by the public and the jury are; Services Offered (30%), Quality (20%), Repuation and Brand Awareness (20%), Value (10%), Innovation (10%), and Providing Unforgettable Experiences (10%).

EyeWide Digital is nominated for the following Greek Hospitality Awards:

  • Best Hotel Marketing & Social Media Provider
  • Best Digital Advertising & Peformance Campaign
  • Best Hotel Digital Marketing Agency

The winners of these awards join the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), the Union of Tourist Agents in Great Britain (ABTA), the Association of Tourist Agencies of Germany, and the whole of the Arab tourist agencies, for participating in the events of the Greek Tourism Workshop 2018 in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Lebanon.

As for the jury of these awards, the expert panel consists of prominent personalities from the business, university and tourism sectors. Winners will be featured through a voting process involving the Evaluation Committee and the public. The final winners will be drawn after the weighting of votes, with a weight of 60% -40% of the vote of the panel and the public, respectively.
