Eye for Travel Hong Kong Coming Up

Mobile is the emerging trend worldwide, but nowhere more critical than for the Asia travel marketing. Coming next month Eye for Travel will present Social Media and Mobile in Travel Asia 2012, a conference aimed at profitability in this space.

Scheduled to take place at the Sheraton Hong Kong Towers, in Kowloon, on November 20th and 21st, the conference handles the differentiation in inspiring travelers to buy in Asia. Unlike the rest of the world, Asia travelers are not near so influenced by Facebook and Twitter as they are other social networks. The same holds true for mobile, when compared to Europe and North America in particular.

In Asia, major Asian airlines, intermediaries and hotels are investing themselves in the mobile and SM space. To engage, competitors in the space need a deeper understanding of networks like Ren ren, Mixi, Sina Weibo, Orkut and Cyworld.

Eyefortravel brings the discussion home with a cutting edged marketing Conference out of San Francisco. Participants will get the benefit of:

  • Learning social and mobile strategies
  • Benchmarking brands versus the industry’s best
  • Gaining market share and ROI

As social media and mobile marketing gains traction to become as crucial or more-so than traditional channels, keeping abreast of the latest trends becomes more and more crucial. The world of travel is real time, your business cannot afford jet lag these days.

Day one begins with Coffee and registration before 8 AM and then “How is Social Media going to change the way your customers buy travel products?” at 9 AM. Sponsorship and other opportunities still exist, for those interested.
