Eurowings Adds Flights to Tunisia and Greece

Eurowings is adding flights from Cologne/Bonn, Düsseldorf, Munich and Vienna to the summer lineup of departures to Tunisia and Greece.

Starting in June, the low-cost airline will offer service from Cologne/Bonn for Enfidha on the Gulf of Hammamet in Tunisia and Preveza on the Ionian Sea in Greece. A new flight departing from Vienna for Kalamata on the Peloponnese peninsula in southern Greece will be on sale from early June as well.

According to the news, Aktion Airport serving the Greek town of Preveza in the Epirus region will be included in the Eurowings offering out of Cologne/Bonn on Mondays from June.

In other news from Eurowings this month, the Malta International Airport has just welcomed the airline’s first Malta flight from Vienna. Eurowings, it said, will be operating morning flights to Vienna every Tuesday and Sunday until October, strengthening MIA’s existent connection with the Austrian capital.

News Eurowings (EW, Dusseldorf) is looking for additional A330 widebody aircraft to bolster its current fleet of seven, incapsulates what appears to be substantial growth for the profitable budget subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group.
