English Tourism Week Arrives in Time for Spring

Coming the 16th – 24th March, English Tourism Week arrives in the UK offering hundreds of tourism businesses the opportunity to network and get their messages out and in line with the Queen’s Jubilee and the tide of the past London Olympics.

James Berresford, Chief Executive of VisitEngland, encapsulates what this year’s event will be about:

“English Tourism Week 2013 is not only an opportunity to promote an industry worth £97 billion a year to the economy, but it’s also a great way to get Britons thinking of England as their next holiday destination by reminding them what’s on their own doorstep.”

Some 35 parks all about the Britain coastline await tourists ready for Springtime 2013. Local economies, so dependent on tourist contribution are of particular interest this year.

The varying types of coastal terrain, from sandy beaches to harbors and fishing villages, Britain’s coastline is simply a wonder. Great holidays can be had for couples, singles, and families whether travelers are in search of a four day weekend or a two week all inclusive stay.
