Eastern Europe has 15 reasons to be excited this Saturday, at the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012: 15 Eastern European countries will be represented, each hoping to grab the trophy. There 26 countries taking the stage in Baku, at the 57th Eurovision Song Contest final.
The Eastern European 15 in the program will be led by Hungary, followed by Albania, Lithuania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Russia, Cyprus, Estonia, host country Azerbaijan, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine and Moldova. The complete list of finalists also includes United Kingdom, Iceland, France, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Malta and Ireland.
Greece’s Eleftheria Eleftheriou with Aphrodisiac is among the top favorites this year, while Russia’s grandma’s Buranovskiye Babushki with their Party for Everybody have triggered enough controversy and pro and cons to fuel the media for months. Other notable Eastern European performances include Hungarian Compact Disco with Sound of Our Hearts, and the stunning voice of Rona Nishliu in Suus (featured in the first video below):
This year, Eastern Europe is represented on scene by some of her most beautiful girls: Greek Eleftheria Eleftheriou, Gaitana from Ukraine, Elena from Romania, beautiful and talented Sabina Babayeva from the host country, stunning Ivi Adamou from Cyprus, and Bosnian Maya Sar, whose beauty is accompanied by an equally beautiful voice:

My favorite is of course, Mandinga and not especially because they are from Romania, but because they came this year with a colorful act, a cosmopolitan band and a great voice, despite Elena's little accident.
