Coming up next month in Dubrovnik, Carnival is the city’s version of New Orleans’ Mardi Gras. Visitors to Old Town in this fabulous Croatian seaside wonder will be treated to colorful parades, bands, masked balls, dancing, and a fantabulous end all party at Revelin Fort.

Slated to run from February 3rd through the 10th, this year’s Dubrovnik Carnival Fest will be a culture fest of monumental proportions. This centuries old traditional fest brings to the city for grownups and kids including: Best Mask awards, a music festival and the awards for best musicians, and a vast array of fun and party activities throughout the city center.
As for the music, the third annual DCF Popular Music Festival 2013 will be held on Thursday Feb 7th. The fest will feature selected songs in competition for prizes. There’s also a Gastro Show, a so called Folklore Evening, and many other activities are planned.
