Deloitte Tags Guy Langford as Leader of US Travel, Hospitality & Leisure Practice

Guy Langford succeeds Adam Weissenberg as Vice-Chairman of Deloitte, according to a press release by the firm today. Deloitte LLP, and leader of the Travel, Hospitality & Leisure in the US, serves about 80 percent of all Fortune 500 travel.

According to the news, Langford has built extensive experience in the travel and real estate sector over the years as a principal with Deloitte & Touche LLP. He most recently served as that organization’s National M&A Travel, Hospitality & Leisure and Real Estate leader. Doug Bade, vice chairman, Deloitte LLP, offered this comment:

“Guy brings an impressive record of outstanding service to many of Deloitte’s prominent clients, and his deep industry knowledge and experience have distinguished him throughout his career. I am delighted that he is taking on this new role, and I am confident that he will continue to elevate our Travel, Hospitality and Leisure practice.”

Langford will head Deloitte’s Travel, Hospitality & Leisure practice including being responsible for the development and implementation of key sector initiatives and will work with senior management of the organization’s leading clients. Langford added this on his appointment:
