According to comScore chairman, Gian Fulgoni, last year, Cyber Monday was the heaviest day of online spending ever, with sales exceeding $1 billion. Retailers are expecting the trend to extend into 2011, and Cyber Monday to beat Black Friday in terms of sales.

Black Friday has already generated $816 million in online sales, being the heaviest online spending day to date in 2011, and representing a 26-percent increase versus Black Friday 2010. Whether this Cyber Monday will meet expectations, remains to be seen. Yuupon.com offers vacations for at least 40 percent off. The promotion, known as “Not a Typo” is already one of the most popular online. The offer also including discounts of up to 90% on restaurants, 90% off Skycoaster Ride Orlando and many other Cyber Monday deals.
