According to the news, this agreement is the six such cooperation in making use of Cruise Critic’s popular Meet & Mingle events. As part of the partnership, Carnival Cruise Line will host private parties on cruises of seven days or longer for Cruise Critic members.  Mike Ewing, General Manager of Cruise Critic had this to say via press release:

“We’re thrilled to partner with Carnival. Extending our Meet & Mingle program to thousands of Carnival cruisers online offers a unique opportunity for Cruise Critic members to meet as they cruise together.  Cruising is an incredibly social form of travel – with tens of thousands taking to our forums each year to meet ahead of their sailings – and our Meet & Mingle events offer cruise lines the opportunity to meet some of their most passionate fans.”

Carnival, and five other lines offer official Meet & Mingle programs including: Silversea Cruises, Azamara Club Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises and Royal Caribbean International. Interested readers may contact Cruise Critic via their link, or connect with them on Facebook here
