Catch the Saronic Chamber Music Festival July 31st – August 4th

Coming up on July 31st and running through August 4th, the Leondari Ensemble presents the annual Saronic Chamber Music Festival. This year’s festival will feature concerts taking place on Hydra, Spetses, and Poros, as well as in Methana and the port town of Galatas from July 31 to August 4.

Founded by Greek violinist Jannis Agraniotis and Australian violist Francis Kefford, the Leondari Ensemble comprises musicians from Europe, North America and Australia who perform regularly with many of the world’s most famous ensembles including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, the ARC Ensemble, the English Chamber Orchestra and the Vienna Piano Trio. The video below is a teaser for the events to come.

A few of the artists who will be performing include Greek violinist, Jannis Agraniotis; cellist Julian Arp; American-Canadian violinist Benjamin Bowman; and Finnish violinist Sini Simonen.

The Saronic Chamber Music Festival is an annual meeting for an international ensemble of world-class musicians dedicated to the exploration and performance of chamber music.
