BioJet Offers Aviation Industry Cheap Alternative Fuel

According to news from BioJet International Ltd., the innovative jet fuel company has released 1 billion gallons of bio-derived fuel for commercial use. The offer to the commercial aviation industry will be at a fixed rate of $2.97 per gallon.

BioJet International, Ltd. is one leading renewable fuel innovators. Their products cover the gambit of biofuel value products from feedstock generation to distribution and end use solutions. Earlier this year, BigJet received an estimated $1.2 billion dollar funding round from Equity Partners Fund SPC. The company is projected to garner $6 billion in supply chain projects over the next decade, according to their press release today.

BioJet, through their network of feedstock operations worldwide, can guarantee such a volume because of their unique position. The BioJet International Ltd. and Abundant Biofuels Corporation merger back in April, also provided added supply side sustainability (PDF). Leveraging the emerging bio-fuels chain, this is what BioJet is focused on. Whether fuels be derived from Waste Biomass, Camelina, Jatropha, Algae, or other feedstock sources – or blended fuels, bio-deisel, Bio-SPK (PDF), or next generation alternatives, BioJet has engaged productively. For those unfamiliar,  synthetic and so called “bio-fuels” are rapidly being adopted by major players in the transportation industry.
