Hitting Feodosiya’s Beach Club 117 in Summer 2017

Beach Club 117 is a legendary Crimea seaside nightclub that features live music, beach partying, and a stunning Russian-seafood menu. This 20-something party spot is where the annual Crimea Trance Fest is held. My good friend, local expert Levent Alver has given us the scoop on yet another hidden Crimea gem.

Located in fabulous Feodosiya, Beach Club 117 is described as a “mega youthful” summer nightclub, Beach Club 117 sits along the 117-kilometer of Kerch highway. The club draws the best DJs and live acts from Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as from all over Europe. During the day, the club operates in family mode like the rest of the beach. And there are two restaurants, shady umbrellas, showers, changing rooms, football and volleyball courts, and the usual suspects to partake of. European cuisine and Goan cuisine, a sushi bar and сhill-out area. The building of the beach club made in Indian style. The design is worked to trifles. The General atmosphere of the club is reminiscent of the atmosphere in the resorts of Goa.

Getting ready for Summer, locals and enthusiasts from all over Crimea frequent these beaches in anticipation of the wingdings to come.

The European restaurants adjacent offer Goan cuisine, a sushi bar and сhill-out area, and the overall atmosphere here is like that of Goa, or so Levent says. I asked him how often he visits the club, to which he replied; “I am a bit too old Phil. The club is very nice, and popular with the younger set day and night.” Levent heaped high praise on the food at the restaurants, but commented on quality not coming cheap too.

Like any other beach club on the Black Sea, 117 is optimized to suit the time of day and the clientele lapping up the sun, sea, and sand. From American to New Zealand vacationers look for the most fun they can get and condensed time. Levent says good clean fun and nice people make Feodosiya one of the top holiday spots on the peninsula. The video below tells a bit more about this lesser known Black Sea holiday gem.
