The Municipality of Athens invites residents to experience once again a series of free guided tours that connect the city’s past with its present. Beginning Saturday, 15 November 2025, the program offers walks through archaeological sites, museums, cultural venues, and historic neighborhoods, organized by OPANDA in collaboration with the Association of Licensed Tourist Guides of Athens.
Mayor Haris Doukas noted:
“We follow the paths of history and culture to understand Athens better. Over the coming weekends, participants will explore both familiar and hidden aspects of the city and share the experience of collective memory. I am pleased that citizens of all ages have embraced this initiative. We look forward to walking the city together.”
OPANDA President Eleni Zontirou added:
“These free tours have become a well-loved tradition that brings the public closer to Athens’ rich past and cultural heritage, highlighting the city’s living identity through knowledge and experience.”
