Aloft Hotels to Open a Second Hotel in Silicon Valley

Aloft Hotels, a brand of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., will open a new hotel in Silicon Valley in December 2014. The hotel, named Aloft Sunnyvale, will have 85 loft-style rooms, furnished to satisfy business class demands, and contemporary technology that will integrate the hotel in the industrial trend that made Silicon Valley famous all over the world.

“Aloft Sunnyvale will resonate with next gen travelers and area professionals with its distinctive urban design aesthetic, intuitive technologies and live music, all within close proximity of the area’s leading technology and aerospace companies,” said Brian McGuinness, Senior Vice President, Specialty Select Brands for Starwood. “Aloft has experienced phenomenal growth and expects to cross the 100th hotel milestone early next year.”

Aloft Sunnyvale is designed for are professionals, and with the next gen travelers in mind. Ideally located right across from the Sunnyvale Town Center, the hotel offers easy access to leading businesses like LinkedIn, Yahoo!, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, and others. Other important local landmarks, like the Town & Country Village Shopping Center, Onizuka Air Force Station and the area campus of Carnegie Mellon University are also within easy reach.
