allsun Hotels Launches Social Contribution Week

allsun Hotels Greece wrapped up its Social Contribution Week with donations, volunteer work, and support for local families, shelters, and seniors.

Some hotel chains offer complimentary sangria. allsun Hotels Greece decided to go for something stronger: an entire week of social contribution, complete with smiles, photos, coordinated T-shirts, and enough heartwarming moments to make even a cynic feel a little nauseous — in a good way.
You know, that warm emotion that almost reaches the edges of “I might vomit from cuteness.”

And honestly?
They earned it.

The Staff:

A Volunteer Army Powered by Coffee, Guilt, and Pure Hospitality Instinct

Employees jumped into the action so fast you would think someone shouted “Inspection!”
They collected gifts for “The Smile of the Child,” packed food, and sorted donations, proving once again that hospitality workers are the backbone of every moral victory in this country.

They even bought many gifts themselves, because apparently, they refuse to let public perception down.

If kindness had calories, the staff would need to be rolled out of the hotel by the end of the week.

The Food Deliveries:

Enough Groceries to Feed a Small Village or at Least Several PR Campaigns

Mountains of food were delivered to the Heraklion Social Grocery and the Kalokairinos Foundation’s kitchen.
Other companies joined too — because nothing spreads faster than the scent of a good PR opportunity.

Crete now has more pasta than tourists in July, and that is saying something.

The Guests:

They Came for Cocktails, Stayed to Save Dogs

The moment the Social Contribution Week was announced, tourists opened their wallets like they were tipping the sunset.
All donations went to the Heraklion Dog Shelter, where they were used to purchase dog food at a significant discount, as well as blankets and supplies to enhance the animals’ living conditions.

Basically, the dogs are now living better than half the visitors after airport taxis and resort buffet nights.

Some guests were reportedly so moved they almost vomited from emotion, not from raki. Progress.

The Nursing Home Visit:

Peak Humanity With a Side of Dancing Pensioners

One of the week’s highlights was the team’s visit to the Heraklion Nursing Home.
They served hotel-quality meals, transformed the place into a family dining room, and created the kind of old-school warmth that evokes a mix of emotions — from tears to nausea, depending on your tolerance for sentimentality.

Dimitris Makrydakis and his artistic crew added music and dancing.
Residents got up and moved like teenagers at a village festival.
For a moment, everyone forgot the routine of daily life, and honestly, that alone is worth an entire press release.

Leadership Presence:

We Came, We Helped, We Posed

The leadership team showed up everywhere — as they should.
There are photos to prove it.
Lots of photos.
Enough photos to create the allsun Cinematic Universe.

But they were there.
Front line.
Working, supporting, carrying, smiling.

Even the skeptics had nothing to vomit about.

Verdict

allsun Hotels Greece pulled off a week of actions so full of humanity that even the most sarcastic among us has to admit: they did something real.

Loud, photographed, polished — yes.
But generous, coordinated, and genuinely meaningful.

And if a little bit of it makes us want to vomit from cuteness?
That is still better than most corporate weeks in this country.
