Air Lituanica wants to become Vilnius Airport’s most punctual air carrier. The airline has announced a guaranteed on-time arrival program that offers free flights to passengers whose flights are late.

The guarantee service, within within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time, is part of a program to better Lituanica’s already excellent on-time arrival performace form the mid 80% range to more than 93%. Air Lituanica Director of Commerce Simonas Bartkus told reporters he hopes his airline has set itself an even more ambitious goal – to become the most punctual air carrier in Lithuania.
“Our promise to passengers is the most convenient way to travel to and from Vilnius, whereas flight punctuality is one of the key performance indicators describing travel convenience.”
Since 31 August, Air Lituanica has been operating flights in cooperation with the Britain’s most punctual airline, bmi regional. That association, and other Air Lituanica initiatives, have improved the airline’s flight punctuality significantly.
Air Lituanica flies from Vilnius Airport to Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Munich, Paris, Tallinn, and Billund. The carrier also has operated seasonal flights to tGothenburg and Malmö in Sweden.
