Russia’s biggest airline, Aeroflot has announced still more incentive to fly with them. Starting November 1, 2014 till March 31, 2015 the air carrier will have free extra baggage piece for carrying one set of skiing equipment under 23 kg.
According to the press, passengers get one set of skiing equipment including one baggage piece with one pair of skis (or snowboard) and one pair of ski poles and one baggage piece with one pair of ski boots (or snowboard boots). The offer, valid across flights on SU3000 — 4999 operated by companies-partners, is innovative even by the airline’s standards for supporting sports.
According to Aeroflot spokespersons, the program came about as a result of requests of passengers traveling to the ski resorts in autumn and winter, offers advantageous transportation of ski equipment.
