AEGEAN Airlines revisits Cairo connection

Last Friday, AEGEAN announced their winter flight schedule beginning with further international flight growth. According to the news from the Greek airline direct flights from Athens to Cairo will be re instituted.

Three flights per week are slated from and to the capital cites until 28 March 2015. AEGEAN will operate the Airbus A320 aircraft, with choices of economy or business class fares. The flights will depart from the Athens airport every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 23:45 and arrive in Cairo at 01:45, while they shall depart from the capital of Egypt every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 04:45, arriving in Athens at 06:45.

Also, 9 extra flights are added to the AEGEAN international network, for the winter schedule 2014-2015. In other news from the airline, last month witnesses an interesting collaboration in between AEGEAN, the Athens-Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association (AHA), Marketing Greece, and the Athens International Airport (AIA). With the effective promotion of Athens as a tourism destination as its goal, the broad coalition of tourism players launched a new international campaign I’m an Aθenian too.
