This latest masterpiece from legendary architect Jaques Savin Couelle is a 7 bedroom, 9 bath affair that boasts of 3000 plus square meters, as if anybody needed to land a helicopter in the house. Located along the North coast of Sardinia, in Porto Cervo, this is one of those places that does cost a lot. You know the saying, “if you have to ask…”? Well, you have to ask.

Villa Gabriella

For a lot of charm, and with a somewhat less burdensome price, this villa along the Archipelago of La Maddalena is a bit of heave in the quiet part of the area. Featuring double covered verandas, sea views only a few meters from the beach, and surrounded by a shade providing lush garden (that you’ll appreciate after fun and sun), the house has 4 large bedrooms and 3 baths. Maid service and other luxury amenities just make this simpler vacation living spot what your doctor may have ordered. In Porto Rafael, Sardinia, Italia, you won’t suffer from shopping or sightseeing withdrawal here either.

Villa Agave, Dubrovnik

Believe it or not I actually had to depart from Christie’s listings to more easily find luxury villas outside Italy and France. And too, one of the Christie’s agents was determined you should find his watermark on those wonderful images. Luckily, every property management firm or owner is not so mercenary. Villa Agave in Dubrovnik is illustrative of more than just luxury accommodations then.

This Croatian bit of pampering is situated on the harbor only a a 5 minute walk from the Old Town of Dubrovnik. With a wonderful vantage-point to see and explore this fascinating city from, there’s also three exclusive accommodation units with furniture of unique design, a VIP lounge, five terraces with an open whirlpool tubs, a spacious living room, luxury bathrooms and an outdoor pool. Your own private beach, open grill kitchen, and even your own private butler make this a value within a value exclusive or not. But then the prices do suggest a lot of quality vacationing rolled in – $5000 a day is note exactly budget digs.
