In news from Princess Cruises, the line is offering 200 travel agents the chance to win a cruise on its newest ship, Majestic Princess, when the ship launches later in 2017.
In order to win, agents must book guests on a 2017 fly-Europe cruise with the cruise line, then enter their details on the online training portal. The prize is a four-night preview sailing departing on March 31 from Trieste to Venice. All flights and gratuities are included in the prize, and the winners will be selected completely at random. The contest runs until January 28 2017, the Chinese New Year.
The 3,560-guest Majestic Princess is currently being built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. Built especially for the Chinese market, the vessel will incorporate a unique blend of international and Asian features. Tony Roberts, vice president Princess Cruises UK and Europe, had this to say about the contest4:
“We’re really excited about this incentive as it offers agents a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience Majestic Princess before she sails to China. We’ve already had 10 lucky travel agents recently win this prize at the 2016 CLIA conference and now 190 more agents can be in with a chance of winning.”
